Congrats to Grim, who got the co-leader spot. Lets hope he doesn't drive the clan into the ground with his wacky ideas and conspiracy theories.

Please do not loiter on the server. Space is limited as it is, and many players find it fustrating to not be able to join a server and to join 5 minutes later to find half the server just sitting there in spectator. If you see players inactive, please warn them to play or leave, and if they dont respond, then kick them politely.

I want to give a special thanks to Cain, who set up the wikipedia entry for the clan. If there is anything you would like added to it, add vp_lordcain@hotmail.com to your Instant Messenger (He prefers MSN) and tell him your suggestions.

Well, the move went well, the server is up and running at the new summery location after the day long down time alloted for the move. The site just got back up a few minutes ago after a 4 or so day down time. That had to do with an incorrect address in the dns database.

To organize the clan a bit better, I am working on reorginizing some of the admin privlages so these might be changing a bit. I would like to give everyone admin, but I am a little worried that we would play around wiht it too much and take away from the game and make the server less fun for the non-members who wouldn't have the privlages. Although they arn't members, they still should be treated as the possibly good players they might be.

I can safely say that I didn't expect this many people to support the clan as they have this fast. It was origionally started up as a group of people who were both skilled and compatent and wanted to hang out at a fun server. To keep with that, I want to make sure that the server is not modded in any way that would make it bad to play on like some extreme modders out there. There are currently 15 members to the clan.

Rules of Engagement

Have respect for other players and especially other clan members.
Don't treat laggers like crap, it isn't neccessarly their fault.
Spwankilling isn't cool, refrain from doing it.
Try to go easy if you are playing against new people, its more fun for them if you take a little time out of your day to take a fall and be somewhat merciful.
Genearally have fun, it's a game and should be treated as such. There should be no personal vendettas in et. :(
Clan members are chosen for skill, general compatence, reasonable language, and good humor. Please don't make me ever regrett letting anyone in.

Rules of Rank

Promoting - We will do it at our descression, do not bother us about it
Demoting - 3 strike rule to demoting, complaint filed agains you by anyone will vreate a strike. One strike will go away per week
complaints - complaints can be anything against rules below or otherwise, if a false complaint is filed, filer gets a strike. I do log these things so its not hard to find out who did something.

Rules of admin

Try not to abuse your privlages, you have them to make the game fun for all players as a whole, not just for personal satisfaction
Admin powers (which do vary in degree) are given somewhat freely out and can be striped just as easily. Use what you have well, and your privlages may increce.
I like to log stuff, remember that with fear :)
Laggers - (often mistaken for the last person to join) tell them nicly they may be causing degraded performance of the server and advise them in a suitable action {ranging from leaving, suggesting a different server, or suggesting a setting change}. If that dosn't work, a !kick or use of !spec999 may be in order.
Spawncampers - Warn them first and then use of !lol, !kick, or !burn may be in order
Generally arrogent people who antagonize everyone or an innocent player - Warn and !burn or !kick or whatever.
